The Role

 

Are you an experienced Water Technician looking for your next move? We have a rare opportunity available in our NPI team at Mt Holland. This role will see you being responsible for the operation and maintenance of all site potable, process, and wastewater infrastructure, inline with relevant business processes and department of health guidelines.

 

This is a permanent, full time position on an 8:6 roster ex Perth to Mt Holland.

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

• Actively participate in the establishment of a health and safety culture, leading by example, and

contributing to the required health and safety standards.

• Daily inspection and operation of potable filtration and dosing systems.

• Daily inspection and operation of wastewater systems (SBR).

• Maintain safe operating level of fresh water supply pond.

• Installation and maintenance of various water related infrastructure.

• Actively contribute to building a strong team-based culture.

• Actively contribute to all safety toolboxes and conversations.

• Understanding of SAP or similar work management systems for raising and executing maintenance tasks.

• Identify risks and look for opportunities where continual improvement can be achieved inline with

operational requirements.

 

 

Role Requirements

 

• Cert III in Water & Wastewater Operations desirable

• 5+ years proven experience in the operation and maintenance of water supply systems in a mining or other heavy industry environment.

• Demonstrated experience in water/wastewater operations.

• Understanding of reliability centred maintenance and preventative maintenance
