The Role:

 

This role sees you being a crucial memeber of our Maintenance Reliability Engineering team. You will execute required condition monitoring activities (planned & unplanned) within Covalent Lithium's health, safety, environmental, HR, and asset management policies. The primary workplace will be in and around the Mt Holland concentrator around heavy machinery, dust and noise. 

 

This role is a permanent, full-time, FIFO opportunity on an 8:6 roster, from Perth to our mine site at Mt Holland.

 

Key Responsibilities:


• Active participation in the establishment of a health and safety culture.
• Development of the Condition Monitoring program complementing proactive maintenance plans, tactics, and safe work instructions
• Manage vibration, lubrication and thermography based predictive maintenance programs including on-site data collection, analysis and determination of recommendations for rotating equipment
• Liaise with OEM's during installation of fixed plant equipment for suitability of the Condition Monitoring program
• Coordinate specialist condition monitoring contractors
• Establish suitable Condition Monitoring database to capture and collect all relevant data
• Establish required reporting system and KPI tracking to effectively monitor equipment performance.
• Support planned and breakdown maintenance to maximise reliability and quality of fixed plant assets
• Identify and put forth opportunities to improve equipment reliability and work procedures
• Provide maintenance support to other departments as required
• Ensure effective working relationships are built and maintained with the supervisor, team members and other departments and stakeholders, both internal and external


Role Requirements:


• 5 years fixed plant maintenance - conveyors, ball mills, crushers, apron feeders, screens, pumps, DMS, floatation, etc.
• Experience in vibration analysis and associated software
• Experience in Oil/wear debris analysis and thermography
• Experience in performing laser alignments, balancing & oil sampling
• Experience in database management, data collection, analysis & reporting
• Operational readiness - preparation of preventive maintenance activities
• Commissioning - understanding design intent, fault finding and problem solving to rectify any equipment performance issues
• Relevant Trade qualification
• Certificate III in Condition Monitoring
• Vibration Analysis Level 2 minimum or above preferred
• Lubrication Level 2 minimum or above
• Thermography 1 minimum
• Experience in root cause failure analysis is highly desirable
• Current WA "C" class drivers license
