The role

 

We are currently looking for an experienced Operator to join our NPI team at Mt Holland. You'll be responsible for providing maintenance and support to our non-process infrastructure (NPI) essential facilities like camps, water systems, and fuel depots.

 

This is a full time, permanent position on an 8:6 roster ex Perth to Mt Holland.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Undertake all work in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with statutory requirements and Covalent policies & procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on NPI assets.
  • Performing daily maintenance tasks on mechanical assets such as generators including topping up fuel, checking oil and coolant levels and topping up if required, completing visual inspection over asset etc.
  • Operating Vac Truck to empty building Sewage Cassete’s.
  • Operating Water Truck to refill site Water Tanks.
  • Operating Fork Lifts & Telehandlers.
  • Work alongside other technicians and trades to carry out maintenance and repair tasks when required.
  • Identifying faults in the systems and equipment.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiencies and help reduce costs.
  • Document activities, work order completions, and other relevant details accurately in the maintenance management system (SAP).

 

Role requirements:

 

  • A Current Western Australian ‘HR’ Class Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in village, aerodrome, water treatment, power generation and other NPI operations.
  • Experience operating heavy rigid trucks. E.G. Tily-Tray Flatbed Trucks, Vac Trucks, Service Trucks.
  • Experiences performing daily maintenance on mechanical assets such as generators including topping up fuel, checking oil and coolant levels and topping up if required, completing visual inspection over asset ect.
  • Experience operating Forklifts / Telehandlers.
  • Experience operating any other forms of machinery like Skid steers, Excavators, Loaders (Advantageous).
  • Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call roster, including after-hours availability.
