The Role


Reporting to the Emergency Services leadership, you will respond to and support all emergency and medical incidents across site, including the open pit, processing plant, aerodrome and village. You will contribute to daily emergency services operations while promoting strong health and safety standards.


This is a permanent full-time FIFO role ex Perth.


Key Responsibilities


•    Respond to onsite emergencies and maintain operational readiness
•    Provide first aid and pre-hospital care
•    Support training, mentoring and development of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)
•    Maintain emergency and medical equipment readiness, compliance and reporting
•    Assist with emergency planning, drills and simulations
•    Support Fitness for Work and AOD testing programs
•    Contribute to continuous improvement of emergency and safety systems
•    Promote a strong safety culture across site

 

Requirements


•    Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue (or higher), including firefighting, road crash rescue, confined space, BA and HAZMAT
•    Certificate IV Healthcare (or higher)
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
•    HR driver’s licence and 4WD experience
•    HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
•    Strong knowledge of mining emergency response systems
