The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our Maintenance team at Mt Holland. You’ll be responsible for providing reliability support and driving continuous improvement in Asset performance within our Fixed Plant environment.
 
This is a permanent, full time position based ex Perth to Mt Holland on an 8:6 roster. 
 
Key Responsibilities 

•    Undertake all work in accordance with statutory requirements and Covalent policies & procedures for health, safety, environment and community
•    Systematic collection, analysis, review and reporting equipment performance. 
•    Develop and implement equipment maintenance strategies that optimise asset lifecycle cost and reliability. 
•    Identify equipment improvement opportunities and assist with engineering and technical support to implement.
•    Engage maintenance and operations stakeholders in the reliability improvement process.
•    Understand both production and maintenance objectives for fixed plant operation.
•    Risk identification, management and mitigation. 
•    Ensure statutory compliance of all Fixed Plant mechanical equipment 

 

Role Requirements

•    Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Qualification
•    Asset Management qualification highly regarded
•    5+ years as a Mechanical Engineer in a mineral processing fixed plant
•    A clear understanding of reliability centred maintenance and preventative maintenance.
•    Previous experience in equipment maintenance strategy development for hard rock processing plant (preferably in lithium processing).
