The Role
 
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join our Maintenance team at Mt Holland. This key role will see you providing support to the Mechanical Supervisor to maintain the equipment utilised in meeting production targets of Covalent’s mine operations in accordance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.

This is a permanent, full time position ex Perth to Mt Holland on an 8:6 roster. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
•    Undertake all work in accordance with statutory requirements and Covalent policies & procedures for health, safety, environment and community
•    Assist the Supervisor Mechanical in the delivery of work instruction and planning requirements.
•    Relief (Step Up) Supervisor duties as required. 
•    Execute planned and breakdown maintenance to maximise reliability and quality of fixed plant assets
•    Identify and put forth opportunities to improve equipment reliability and work procedures 
•    Maintain equipment to the highest standard to ensure Mount Holland meets required production targets operations
•    Document maintenance activities, work order completions, and other relevant details accurately in the maintenance       management system (SAP).
 
Role Requirements
 
•    5 + years post trade experience in a mining or processing plant environment. 
•    Hands on experience with crushing, screening, milling and conveying systems maintenance.
•    Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical)
