The Role
As our Mechanical Fitter, you will maintain the equipment utilised in meeting production targets of Covalents Mt Holland Mine operations in accordance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.
This is a full time, permanent position, ex FIFO from Perth to our Mt Holland mine site, on an 8 on / 6 off / 8 on / 6 off / 8 on / 6 off / 7 on / 7 off roster.
Key Responsibilities
- At all times act within Mount Holland safety, environmental and statutory standards.
- Execute planned and breakdown maintenance to maximise reliability and quality of fixed plant
assets. - Identify and put forth opportunities to improve equipment reliability and work procedures.
- Maintain equipment to the highest standard to ensure Mount Holland meets required
production targets operations. - Ensure effective working relationships are built and maintained with the supervisor, team
members and other departments and stakeholders, both internal and external
Role Requirements
- Certificate III in a Mechanical Trade
- A Relevant trade qualification
- A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
- 2 years fixed plant maintenance—conveyors, ball mills, crushers, slurry pumps.
- Forklift Ticket (desirable)
- DG ticket (desirable)
- HR licence (desirable)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) (desirable)
- Polywelding & Electrofusion HDPE (desirable)
- CN – Crane Ticket (desirable)
