The Role:
This position is an E&I Maintenance Planner role working with the E&I Maintenance Supervisor and discipline engineers to maintain the asset health and performance of electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems through the application of the business work management and reliability processes.
The E&I Maintenance Planner will deliver business readiness activities associated with maintenance systems readiness, supporting the deployment of SAP electrical & instrumentation maintenance plans.
Furthermore, this role will be responsible for producing quality maintenance packages of work that will enable the maintenance teams to execute Refinery reliability centred maintenance strategies safely, effectively, and efficiently.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working Mon-Fri (5/2), at our Kwinana Refinery
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning of maintenance orders, both corrective and preventative, for all allocated areas and equipment.
• Planning of reactive maintenance orders for breakdowns where requested.
• Ensuring optimal job estimation through in field scoping of tasks.
• Auditing and reviewing all maintenance orders and confirmation of material availability as per schedules.
• Effective packaging of maintenance orders to align with local planning and scheduling rules
• Implement and update maintenance plans and task lists for assigned plant and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise closely with Maintenance and Production Coordinators to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution activities are met.
• Cataloguing of materials into ERP system.
• Monitor the maintenance costs and assist with compiling budget estimates.
Role Requirements:
• Drivers Licence
• Trade Certificate in electrical and/or instrumentation.
• Equipment Experience: Process Instrumentation, HV and LV equipment, motor drives (soft start, VSD), PLC and process control, burner management systems (FSC), electrical condition monitoring, lighting, power systems.
• Knowledge of legislative statutory & regulatory codes relating to processing and electrical/instrumentation equipment and systems.
• Competent with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Highly desirable to have at least 5 years’ experience working in a Maintenance Planning role in a mining/processing/oil & gas environment
