The role

 

We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance team at our Kwinana refinery. You will maintain the asset health and performance of equipment and systems through the application of the business work management and reliability processes.

 

You will support deployment of business readiness activities associated with maintenance systems readiness and actively participate in Refinery commissioning.

 

You'll also be responsible for producing quality maintenance packages of work and schedules which will enable the maintenance teams to execute Refinery maintenance strategies safely, effectively, and efficiently.

 

This is a permanent, full time position based at Kwinana.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Active participation in the establishment of a health and safety culture through hazard awareness and reporting.

• Equipment Experience – conveying equipment, dust extraction, milling equipment, process equipment such as cyclones/pumps/piping/valves/tanks/agitators, rotary kilns, gas burners.

• Maintenance Strategy – Enable proactive maintenance through the deployment of maintenance strategies, liaising with the Senior Planner (master data) and engineers.

• Master Data - Develop and maintain plant and equipment master data required for the safe and reliable operation of the plant.

• Managing Risk - Identify risks that may compromise refinery performance/quality outcomes and escalate concerns for mitigation of potential impacts.

• Material Management – work in partnership with inventory management and vendors to ensure optimal parts inventory, including spares selection, stocking strategy and spares preservation.

• Quality Scope – Enable precision maintenance through the development of quality/detailed scopes of work.

• Planning/Scheduling – Produce quality maintenance packages of work and schedules to ensure maximum equipment reliability and labour productivity.

• Performance – Complete data analytics to manage performance of the maintenance function(work management, materials management, defect elimination).

 

Role requirements

 

• Highly desirable to have at least 5 years’ experience working in a Maintenance Planning role in a mining/processing/oil & gas environment

• Trade: Trade Certificate in mechanical trade or Mechanical Engineering Certification desirable (not essential)

• Non-Trade: Minimum 8 years previous processing plant and/or shutdown planning experience in mining/processing/oil&gas environment in an mechanical discipline role.

• Competent with Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP desirable).

• Drivers Licence.
