Our integrated mining and refining operation in Western Australia will produce 50,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium hydroxide annually, supporting electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and strengthening Australia’s critical minerals supply chain.

 

Our People & Culture team support end to end learning and organisational development, and facilitate a culture of continuous learning, employee engagement and workforce capability. We have a new opportunity and 12 month position for an Organisational Development Lead to join our team based at our head office at Kwinana Refinery reporting to General Manager People & Culture.

 

The Role

As a leading specialist you will provide expert and strategic advice to senior leaders and manage capability initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing organisational development initiatives to promote Covalents culture, leadership capability and organisational effectiveness.

 

About you

  • A trusted, strategic and influential partner to senior leaders in developing culture, talent and leadership capabilities
  • You translate strategy into delivery, leading enterprise scale organisational development initiatives
  • An exceptional change leader and innovator that values continuous improvement and capability building
  • A highly effective coach, influencer, negotiator and facilitator

 

What you bring:

  • A relevant degree in organisational psychology, organisational development, HR or other relevant field in addition to 12-15 years in organisational development, talent management, and leadership development.
  • A proven record of leading and delivering impactful enterprise scale initiatives
  • Effective skills in advisory and coaching to senior leaders.
  • Expert knowledge of contemporary organisational development trends, frameworks and strategies.

 

Candidates with a background in mining and/or resource industries, or who are registered as an Organisational Psychologist will be highly regarded.

 

This role is based at our Head Office in Kwinana, with flexible working arrangements available. The position may require occasional travel to our site at Mt Holland. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a psychometric assessment.
